The number and type of cameras, microphones, and lighting needed will impact the cost. Support gear, like tripods, cranes, sliders, and time-lapse gear and even drones also figured into the overall rate. We have filmed from subways to rooftops, boats and cars, planes and helicopters.

Self explanatory really, but the overall time it takes us to pack, load, transport, AND film AND edit your project is calculated carefully. Editing time is spent not only putting together the best shots and best takes, but color correction, adjusting audio, adding graphics, logos, text, and other effects.

The final impact on pricing is the type talent, and we’re not just talking the models, celebrities, actors, or spokespeople; we mean the talent behind the camera…knowing how to get the best results out of the above talent and how to make them look their best in various locations and deliver their script as accurately as possible.

Please use the below to help you to put together a rough budget for pre-approval or what you should expect to pay. There are many factors that can alter the price, like doing multiple takes, difficult weather, locations. travel, parking, permits, and insurance. If someone comes in vastly lower than industry standard rates, the old adage of you get what you pay for comes to mind. You don’t need to over pay, but be mindful and respectful of the time someone dedicates to your project, both before, during, and after. Many times we can bill in smaller 1/2 day increments and may give discounts for multi-day, and pre-approved payment arrangements.
